This session will feature three insightful lectures on hypopituitarism. Prof. Hiroshi Arima will discuss endocrine dysfunctions associated with immune checkpoint inhibitors, revealing their impact on hypopituitarism. Prof. Seung Shin Park will explore surprising hidden complications in hypopituitarism. Lastly, Prof. Hidetaka Suga will present innovative cell-based therapies, potentially revolutionizing hypopituitarism treatment.

Symposium 6. Delving into primary aldosteronism: Taiwan study of aldosteronism - Korean Adrenal Study Group Day 2, Friday, April 12, 16:50-18:20 / Room 4 (B2) Overview
This session offers diverse perspectives from leading Taiwanese and Korean experts on primary aldosteronism (PA). Prof. Vin-Cent Wu from National Taiwan University discusses the intersection of PA with cortisol secretion, challenging prevailing beliefs. Prof. Yen-Hung Lin, representing the Taiwan Society of Hypertension, examines cardiovascular risks linked to this co-occurrence. Prof. Seung Hun Lee from the University of Ulsan, Korea, delves into the evolving understanding of PA in Korea. Lastly, Prof. Nam Ki Hong from Yonsei University, Korea, addresses the potential risks of stroke and dementia associated with the condition.

Clinical update 3. Contemporary insights into general endocrinology Day 3, Saturday, April 13, 08:30-10:00 / Room 4 (B2) Overview
This session will provide the contemporary insight necessary for managing various endocrine diseases in real clinical settings. Prof. Hyejin Lee will go over the key points in assessing and managing patients with polycystic ovarian syndrome. Prof. Ohk-Hyun Ryu will introduce the recent updates in the management of adrenal incidentaloma. Prof. Sang Ouk Chin will talk about how to achieve individualized approaches when treating patients with Cushing’s disease.
